state of MSX emulators

Hi all,

What's the current state of PC emulators for the MSX regarding completeness for sound?

The reason I ask, is that years ago I had a game called Ninja Kage (Ninjya Kage), and it had an Asian vocal sample that was played when you started level 1, and again when you looped back to level 1 (game only had 3 levels whcih looped around). I played this game from disk.

I've found both rom and disk images, but neither appear to play this sample. Ive tried both blueMSX and fMSX.

I'm wondering if the emulator is not playing it, or if the sample is not in my rom/disk image. In which case, does a image with the sample exist? I'd love to have it, it was such a great sample.

Thanks in advance.

I just checked, but bluemsx 1.5.0 does play a sample with my rom, but it's completely clear what he is saying :) But i guess it japanese ?

hmm..ok, would you be able to email me your rom image? I'll give that one a try... yeah, it sounds like Japanese, "Habusha Habusha something" :)
