Hello, I´d love to add a new publisher to the Database: Clube MSX, the brazilian magazine. They have published the magazine (duh) and a Disc Magazine, plus some digitally released games and tools and a physical game too. Name: Clube MSX Founded in: 2018 Country: Brazil Website: www.clubemsx.comby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Here´s some pictures of the real Serra Pelada taken by world renowned photographer Mr. Sebastião Salgado.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Here´s the original disk. It never had a box or manual (all instructions are on-screen). Game was shipped on a generic box. It´s autographed by Mr. Degiovani.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
"Serra Pelada" was one of the first games developed in Brazil. It was a text adventure developed by Renato Degiovani for the Spectrum in 1987 and converted for MSX by Einar Saukas. Serra Pelada was a huge real-life open gold mine in the middle of the Amazon forest discovered on early 80s. There´s a lot of amazing images of it on Youtube and Google, the swarms of half-naked, mud-coby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Here´s a picture of the (rare!) original disc for this game. Even better, signed by the game author! :-) Game never had a manual, all info are displayed onscreen. No box also. A generic cardboard box with the disc inside was all you got when buying the original.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
I´m trying really hard to remember any other UK-made game released on disc. Not a single one comes to mind. Even the biggest companies like Gremlin or Grandslam or Mastertronic only released tape games (and very very VERY occasional cart games). I´m not even sure if there were UK-made MSX disc drives around... MSX crashed really soon and really bad over there. I mean, I´ve got aby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Hello, I don´t believe a M.A.D. disc version of Space Walk exists. Here´s my arguments: - M.A.D. was a low budget label from Mastertronic. I don´t believe they would release a DISC game - M.A.D. have NOT released any game on disc besides this - M.A.D. have never released a game released previously by Mastertronic I suggest removing the entry untill further confirmation.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database

I´ve just dumped and uploaded the 1st one. Had a hard time uploading to archive.org so used my domain instead. Might work on part 2 tonight.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
NP. Quite busy down here too. :-)by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Thank you for it all! :-) I´ll do a magazine search later on and grab screenshots for all Nemesis software already dumped and that might be added to the database. Is that OK?by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Thank you, Rob. I´ll try to dump it later today. Any specific place I should upload the .DSK files? Never done that.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
And here´s the release photos:by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Hello, This is the original software by Nemesis that I´ve mentioned. It is a set of utilities, basically some disk utilities (G-Desk), an extended BASIC interpreter (G-BASIC) and a lot of useful routines, sample programs and demo ranging from character remapping to mouse support, all saved on disk. It´s a MSX1 software, released in 1990. Original release was on a 5.25" diskby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Hello, Nemesis was one of the many Brazilian companies back in the day who resorted to rampant piracy. I think I´ve already mentioned, piracy was 100% LEGAL back in the day in Brazil. Actually it was illegal for a foreign company to register software here, if you can imagine that. So it was just business as usual. Nevertheless, Nemesis (and many other Brazilian companies) did managedby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Hello, Here´s two different Odin Software (https://www.generation-msx.nl/company/odin-software/1210/) compilations. They´re called "10 MSX-Hits on Disk" part 1 and 2. Could not find a release date. I´m not sure if that´s dumped / preserved already. This one seems pretty simple to do, if needed.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Is it still undumped? Ouch. I´ll try to find a working cassete player and a data cable. Let´s see if I manage to do this. Worst case scenario, can I just record the tape as as WAV file? Is it any good? Still have to do it with that EDOS Flintstones.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
