Once the initial load is done it allows me to start the game but simultaneously attempts to load the game again. So you're able to control the ship and shoot, but no background video plays and you have loading graphics and noises over the top. So it's completely unplayable.

The fact is happens on both discs suggests this is either a problem with every disc (unlikely) or an incompatibility with my player/set-up.

There is a game developed by Pony Canyon called (Dizzy Ball), that seems obscure and very few people know how to play it.

However, I managed to reach stage 3 after I have discovered the objective of the game.

There are 4 electric pots in each level that are surrounded by blue rocks. You have to destroy 3 out of these 4 pots.

There are rocks that fall from the sky that disturb your movements. You have to avoid them and destroy them using the spacebar.

The rocks fall in a way similar to boulder dash game. The red rocks are more aggressive and kill you directly.

Also you have to avoid the enemies that you probably cannot kill them I guess.
