SNATCHER: First stage

I've started to play Snatcher half-translated a few days ago. I've still could not pass the first stage (the old factory). I've obtained the key, Little John's memory, the paper (search the house!), got analysed the skin, hair and Gibson's stomach. I've investigated almost all the items in the factory, But cannot get out of there.

Can someone tell me what actions should I do at this point??

After you have done everything you can do in the factory, leave the factory. You will be trapped by a couple of metal spiders which you have to shoot down. Be sure to save before trying because they can kill you!!! Shooting is done punching the numerical keys on the right part of your keyboard, I believe.
