I have 2 ATA-IDE + RS232C Sunrise interfaces , one is not working.
This cartrdidge doesn't boot , and updating the flashrom is not possible.
Is there somebody with repair ideas of these cartridges .

Why is not possible to update firmware? Don't you have a MSX with a floppy disk drive?
Maybe it's possible via cassette port.

Because the software comes with the message No IDE system installed during startup.
It's not possible to boot in DOS 2.20 that's build in the cartridge .

Heve you tried to boot this configuration:
- MSX with MSX-DOS 1 and IDE BIOS flashing utilities on floppy disk;
- IDE+RS232 cart inserted in slot 1;
- during boot press INS (or GRPH, don't remember...) to boot MSX-DOS 1.

If MSX-DOS 1 boots, then flash IDE bios into the IDE cart.

Msx comes with the message Flashrom:test failed , so i think there's a hardware failure .
