Mega Demo 4 was last demo we made. After that we only made games. It was also the last time we used the philips music module for sound.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
In 2008 Delta Soft celebrated its 20th aniversary with the release of the celebration patch for Konami Quiz 2. It made the penguin power available including many characters of metal gear.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
Konami Quiz 2 is by far the game we worked on the longest (it was about 5 years). There where some hidden gems in it, like pressing P at the player choice menu to get Penguin Power (15 new players) and Pressing T or R to get cheatmode. We where also the first releasing a game on the compact flash. I guess the CF reader of Sunrise is the extension I love and used the most. It was real nice releasiby The Kid - MSX Software Database
And ofcourse a MSX2+/Turbo R version was made aswell.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
To celibration Delta Softs 15 year aniversary, we made this replayer with all the music from FIndit. Also we've put in all the passwords for those stuck at a certain puzzle.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
At one point all three delta soft members where the proud owners of the Turbo R. Personally I have used this computer more for programming and testing then gaming. Since we tought there wasn't that much MSX2+/Turbo R games around, we decided to make Findit as a MSX2+/Turbo R version aswell. All the intro screens are screen 12 and at certain points the R800 is called the speedup some things.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
We tried to release a new program every year. Since Konami Quiz 2 took over 5 years to make, we needed something in between. Luckely Tsunami joined forces and did some nice translations of japanese games. Feedback is one of them. Qix who made the music for Thunderbirds are go came up with the idea to make a puzzle game (sometimes you'll find the arcade version in a snackbar).by The Kid - MSX Software Database
The Delta Demos where promotion programs. We used them on fairs as Rotary demos. They are also available as downloads on our site.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
Hi Sandy, That's great. I hope you'll fix the bug tomorrow. I own about 100 Original msx games, so when I'm done adding the Delta Soft programs I wanted to check if the generation-msx database misses information on any of the games I own :)by The Kid - General
The NMS 8245 Demo and Delta's Tools Disc. The first one really was my first "demo" I made as Delta Soft. It was a tribute to my first MSX 2 ever, the NMS 8245 with double sides diskdrive!! I still love this design the most of all msx computers.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
Delta's Picture Puzzle Collection 1 and 2. Initially I made this game for my uncle. He made some pictures of animals and my niece wanted to puzzle with them. So I made a shuffle puzzle like game with the options to import your own pictures. For Delta Soft we made 2 games, the first one with pictures of Lucky Luke and Asterix. The second one of Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet. (if you don;tby The Kid - MSX Software Database
The nemesis2 SCC demo and the Salamander SCC Demo. Seems silly now, but back in 1990 not everyone had the luxury to own an MSX with 256 KB ram or have a memory expansions, let alone the real game. So, In a way to make an homage we made both scc demos since we liked the scc music (and the games) a lot. In a way it where some kind of promotional disks.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
hmm, The Michael Jackson Demo. what can I say.. I was a MJ fan. Still love songs like "The way you make me feel", "Dirty Diana", "Smooth criminal" to name some.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
and another year later, Mega Demo 3 was released. I hated those picture disks who called themselfs DEMO. In my oppinion a demo had to be more than a picture slide show. So we did our best to animate as much as we could, tried all kinds of fade in and fade out effects. A lot of these techniques helped me to understand msx basic more and more so I could eventually make games like Konami Quiz 2, Finby The Kid - MSX Software Database
And one year later Mega Demo 2 followed. Haha, In those days there where some no violent battles going on between msx and atari and commodore. To "prove" msx 2 could equal the graphics of the amiga, we ripped the graphics. A friend of mine owned a philips NMS 8280 and another friend had an amiga. So we plugged that coax in the NMS 8280 and ripped the graphics. Not the best quality but hby The Kid - MSX Software Database
The mega Demo. Still love this one, It was the first big demo I made. It was on 2 disks and the sounds where short (bad :) ) samples for the music module of philips.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
The Lucky Luke Demo Metal Gear Maps (for dynamic Publisher)by The Kid - MSX Software Database
Since I Always liked this site and never found the time, I finally found some time to upload all our programs. To start with "De geschiedenis van de Bismarck" and "De Konami Quiz". In the zipfiles is a .txt file with the specs.by The Kid - MSX Software Database
Hi generation msx, I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing trouble, but the search button doesn't work on my pc (win 7 64 bits explorer 10). When I try to search metal gear, ranma, rambo or whatever, it will show the game in the list but when I click the program if tells me nothing found and doesn't show the game ?? When I click metal gear in the popular list down bby The Kid - General
