Help needed to add all games that are not in the database yet, which can be found here: Including screenshots of course! :) THey're mostly Spanish tapes.... Admins, please help!by Manuel - MSX Software Database
Maybe we should count inclusion in a compliation a release as well. Sandy, can you make an automatic release when a game is added to a compilation?by Manuel - MSX Software Database
Hi Some ideas for the site: apart from a screenshot-uploader-top-5, how about adding a gamecover-top as well? By the way, Sandy, thanks for fixing the screenshot problems.by Manuel - MSX Software Database
OK, all I know now about Sony is put in the db... Even screenshots and gamecovers from the Computer Software World catalogs. Will of course be updated when new info comes in.by Manuel - MSX Software Database
Who posted that title screenshot of Bank Buaster? This isn't included in The Games Collection and I thought that was the only release it had. Maybe I'm wrong? Please enlighten me :)by Manuel - MSX Software Database
Hi, I've been adding a lot of Sony stuff! Keep on checking it, because I'm not finished yet (almost). If you have any comments or improvements, let me know. I'm quite sure most of it is correct now, except for some of the Japanese names of the software, but that will be worked on.by Manuel - MSX Software Database
masaxi: don't forget to add those missing games yourself :)by Manuel - MSX Software Database
Thunderbal is only with one l :) It's a bit Dutchy.by Manuel - MSX Software Database
And I also found that MSX Hinter mentioned the Supersellers 2 titles. Anything else I should add?by Manuel - MSX Software Database
Oh, I just found the thread in which you mentioned the games. Added..!by Manuel - MSX Software Database
Hi Masaxi, I can't add 10 Computer Hits 3, because I don't know which games are on it :) I don't think I added Supersellers 1. I don't know much about those anyway. I only added compilations I own myself. If you want to have more detailed info about compilations, this can be done, but I think Sandy should add some fields for it in the database. It's not so structby Manuel - MSX Software Database

They mostly are, I guess... So maybe it's not that bad after all.by Manuel - MSX Software Database
I think those are more of the "Conversions" type. Not exactly the same, but the re-release type of remake I meant (which Sandy implemented) is a game one can refer to in the same database; so a normal MSX game.by Manuel - MSX Software Database
There are more 'rules' to think of: - when do you say a game is for both MSX-1 and MSX-2? Personally, I think you should only mention the minimum MSX-version unless it offers extras on higher MSX versions (so, e.g. Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade should be only "MSX1" and Nemesis 3 should be both MSX1 and MSX2, because it uses the pallette of MSX2 and higher on those macby Manuel - MSX Software Database
By the way: who thought that Microtac was a Japanese company that licensed software to several distributors?? What a crap :) I removed that, because Microtac is just 2 Dutch brothers who won the 2nd prize in the MCM/Eurosoft games programming contest with Dr. Archie. A great and professional looking game, but still amateur :) Note that I didn't add releases to many games from The Gamesby Manuel - MSX Software Database
Hi, Sandy just added a remake-of and see-also field. This is (if you ask me) meant for the following: remake-of: to indicate that this game is a remake, actually a re-release of an earlier game from the same company, with e.g. brushed up graphics or a different title. Example: Burgerkill is a remake of Mac Attack. Many games from The Games Collection are remakes of older Aackosoft games. Buby Manuel - MSX Software Database
Hi folks! I recently got an admin account on GenMSX, after following it for years and suggesting many things to Sandy. I've been working very hard to add as much stuff as I can. I mainly focussed on product ID's, by checking all original software I have and adding any missing data. After that, I went for the collections. I added all games of 30 MSX Hits, The Games Collection,by Manuel - MSX Software Database
For some of them you can at least find vector graphics on the Bazix web site. Those should be scalable to the size you want, without much quality loss. But honestly, I really preferred those not-optimal images to the texts! It looked really great already!by Manuel - Generation MSX
Hey Sandy, Last time I checked you had images for the "MSX", "MSX-2", "SCC" etc strings. That was so cool! But they seem to have gone now.... Why is that? I love to see the original icons/logos used :) Keep up the great work, though :)by Manuel - Generation MSX
