Hello, Sorry to do it this way but it´s much easier for me. Below is a few of the Sharp-Epcom software released on cassete. Brazilian Sharp was NOT a branch of japanese Sharp! On early 80s it was ILLEGAL for tech companies to register their trademarks themselves on Brazil without a Brazilian partner. A lot of brazilian companies took the chance to register international brands bby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Here´s the "flinstones" I´ve got. It was on a lot of 20+ MSX games so it´s probably for MSX but there´s nothing saying what platform is the game for. Instructions are on various languages and include MSX loading instructions so it seems it was a real thing back them. Very curious about this.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Weird, yesterday I´ve searched for "EDOS", found the company and it linked to a book. Thank you Rob! :-) I´ll try my best to find a tape recorder and check if my copy is of a MSX game. I´ve seen a few cover scans online that list MSX games but not a single "confirmed" MSX game. It seems that it was a (really) late player to the party.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
A few for Spectrum on eBay UK right now. Funny, absolutely no clear indication of platform.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Found a few around on the internet. Looks pretty crappy job. :-) Got myself a "Flintstones" from EDOS. There is absolutely NOTHING written on the cassete. Don´t even know if that´s really MSX or maybe Spectrum. Must find a tape recorder first to test it and then, maybe, confirm.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
It seems this company is not listed. Just found out about this. They were a chain of stores in UK who sold a lot of games for a lot of different platforms. They had a huge list of games and an inventory of semi-generic boxes and medias, and then they copy the game to you in the spot for a fee. All games were licensed, no piracy at all. And they had a decent selection of MSX games.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
According to Wikipedia, ED was a big UK Spectrum company that published Activision games outside USA! Mystery solved? :-) I guess it´s safe to say game was released in USA by Activision and in UK by ED. Also, again making a parallel with Spectrum (in UK I really thing that this is very useful since in UK Spectrum was huge and MSX was always a "plan B"), on Spectrum game was rby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Hello, "Aliens" shows as published by Mr. Micro, but is clearly labeled Electric Dreams. Could not find any reference to Mr. Micro. Is there a mistake? Thank you.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
Hello, I think a few games that currently are listed as having a Mastertronic release must have it removed. Here´s the games and supporting evidence: - Las Vegas Video Poker (https://www.generation-msx.nl/software/mastertronic/las-vegas-video-poker/release/2739) Entertainment USA is a brand owned by Mastertronic. Game was only released under Entertainment USA label both in Cby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
This is weird. :-) (And it really looks cheap) Compulogical S.A. release of Eggy. - Eaglesoft cover, eaglesoft logo covered by Compulogical. - Aackosoft tape, in spanish. All other Compulogical tapes show Compulogical logo, but not this one. It´s the same look, though. Unfortunately it has no manual.by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database

Hello, I was browsing around and saw that you listed YS as released by Sony only. All package says "Falcom", I honestly couldn´t find a single reference to Sony anywere. Was that a typo?by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database

A brief discussion with Manuel: Hi Manuel! Found a lot of interesting info browsing WoS... Manuel wrote: (...) Hello, I have reasons to believe that The Munsters was never released by Gremlin Graphics, as stated here. I´ve started a thread on MSX.org but I guess this is the correct place for it. :-) Here´s the thread: Main arguments follow below. Please let me know what you think. Hello, Generation-MSX lists "The Munsters" as an original Gremlin game. But there´sby Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
I see. Interesting! And what about the "Phantis" / "Game Over II" confusion? What do you guys think? Apparently "Game Over II" was never released in Spain by Dinamic, it is just a modded version of Phantis with its logo changed to "Game Over II" and released only on UK. At least that´s how it works on Spectrum! Here in G-MSX "Game Over II&by Lazzeri - MSX Software Database
