Why is not possible to update firmware? Don't you have a MSX with a floppy disk drive? Maybe it's possible via cassette port.by nrgo - MSX Hardware
I own it! It's a modem equipped with a slot for telephone card. Surely it was sold in Italy. I'm not sure but you can pay videotex services with a card... I will check manual.by nrgo - MSX Hardware
Hello, in the following pages there may be unreleased or extremely rare software by Soft-Studio WING: SHIRO TO KURO NO DENSETSU: Asuka-hen: seems to be a game that manage real music from tape, in other words, at certain points of the game, it starts and stops tape with motor on/off to play and pause music and sound effects. Really a good idea!by nrgo - MSX Software
Ok thankyou, added: But I don't know the release support, so I put Disk.by nrgo - MSX Software
I've found this Japanese software: Does anybody have info about it?by nrgo - MSX Software
Hi, I found this video about a game in the database: Star Arthur Legend - Planet Mephius it's a VHD interactive lasergame: It seems a graphical-video adventure game type. Maybe for the first time in Gen-MSX we could classify a game as a "video-adventure" :-)by nrgo - MSX Software Database
Thankyou, game added to the database: Please provide more informations and scans if available. Regards.by nrgo - MSX Software Database
Hi Manuel, me too I'd prefere Philips France, but on cover there's no place for Philips apart of the VG 8503/21 code.by nrgo - MSX Software Database
So... Just filled this entry with data from the French release: MS Text by Aackosoft French release has the same packaging of the other releases, only translation differs. This version is explicitally released by Aackosoft, but on cover there's a VG-8xxx code, so maybe it's a Philips France release... Do I have to change from Aackosoft to Philips France? What your opinion? Ciby nrgo - MSX Software Database
I've found a short review of the "coming soon"...: Wonder Boy in Monster Land MSX FAN issue 2 year 1989 Updated the Gen-MSX: but please add more infos. Review in attach to those who understand Japanese.by nrgo - MSX Software

Hello, I think Manuel should be happy and provide more infos: Sand Stone by Compojoetania The Next Generation I remember, this is a really good puzzle game with amazing special effects! Have to preserve it, if anyone has not dumped it yet.by nrgo - MSX Software Database
Ok but as far as remember, F1 for the MSX1 did not have that graphics... It seems MSX2 graphics. Am I wrong?by nrgo - MSX Software
Hi, I'd like to know your opinion about this old French magazine advertising page: Could it be that Konami planned a MSX2 version of F-1 Spirit? (and it remained unreleased?)by nrgo - MSX Software
Just preserved (some errors in 1 file, but I'll retry on that block and I'm sure it will be ok): Introducing MSX Author: Kuma (various) Publisher: MSX Computingby nrgo - MSX Software Database

Hi manual, regarding your last question, I write to you in private...by nrgo - MSX Software Database
mmmh, I'm not sure... let's take some more time to investigate...by nrgo - MSX Software
mmmh, yes, at a first sight I created R&D Computer, but after that I saw this was already in the database as a Land Computer release. So I though R&D Computer was like a serie (for ex.Research & Development). Tagoo says this:by nrgo - MSX Software Database
To those who know Japanese, is this release correct? (see release's photos). Thankyou.by nrgo - MSX Software Database

Hi, I'd like to put RSS feed of Generation-MSX in a new upcoming website made with Wordpress. How to do it? I can see various feed, each one for a specific furum list, but not a general-main feed. Thankyou in advance.by nrgo - Generation MSX
Just updated this entry! It seems a naive MSX-Basic game, instead, it's a quality programmed game with some parts in LM. I preserved this release: Alternative Software Soccer Bossby nrgo - MSX Software Database
Hi Manuel, this is the tape I use: Philips NMS-1520 Strangely, things changed when I preserved software from a BASF tape (the one I sent to you by email for a evaluation). Do long tapes or special magnetic material tapes could "stress" heads? Or heavly magnetize them? In this case, are there some actions to do quickly? For example, touch head with metal?by nrgo - MSX Hardware
Hi2All, this is the second time it happens... Another tape recorder has some troubles with output volume. After many years in reading tapes, now volume is very very low and tapes are unreadable from MSX. I don't know what causes this problem: - volume adjut system is exhausted? - magnetized head? I have already tried to clean head mechanically but with no results... I'm verby nrgo - MSX Hardware
