Anonymous Jul 06, 2005 at 15:23

ALL are MSX(1) tape games with PSG And ALLIGATA is spelled wrongly in database... it´s written "Aligata" in database 5:OP yep, those Alligata / Alligata software games to add are: DISC WARRIOR, 1985 WHO DARES WINS 2, 1986 3D KNOCKOUT, 1985 ADDICTA BALL, 1987 Missing ATLANTIS game: SURVIVORS, 1986 BUBBLE BUS is written incorrectly as "bobblebus" and has published these MSX games: HUSTLER, 1985 BOARDELLO, 1985 STARQUAKE, 1985 WIZARD´S LAIR, 1986 Missing BUG BYTE: TIME TRAX, 1986 Missing CODEMASTERS WACKY DARTS, ? all COMPTIQ games you already have there can be found on TAPE format too! this is missing: B.C.´S QUEST FOR TIRES, 1985 I don´t know is it both tape and rom? Missing DOMARK: LICENSE TO KILL, 1989 TOOBIN, 1989 A VIEW TO A KILL, 1985 XYBOTS, 1989 Missing EPYX: CALIFORNIA GAMES, 1987 4X4 OFF-ROAD RACING, 1988 ? + there are three incorrect game names in EPYX section: All those games should have word "GAMES" instead of "game" regards, Mäsäxi

Hi, I changed/added the Alligata and Bubble Bus software. The bobblebus in the database is a dutch amateur group. The Wacky Darts should be: http://www.generation-msx.nl/msxdb/softwareinfo/2677 It seems it's coded by CodeMasters but published by Blue Ribbon, But I have to check that. I will add/check the rest later.

mäsäxi, please use png or gif, not jpg. And did you read the news on the frontpage ? if you have an account, you can upload the screenshots yourself (if the game allready exist in the database) :)) Sandy

Sorry. I expected I can use jpg as when attaching pics, there reads: "You are allowed to attach files of the following type: gif;jpg;png;zip;rar;lha"

sylvester Jul 26, 2005 at 09:10

Well, in the forum it's no problem, but for the database screenshots I only use gif and png. But for covers I use .jpg.

Anonymous Jul 26, 2005 at 10:01

Well, maybe you are using invisible upload links/buttons, as I can´t see nor find any in database´s games... ;) is there something I should know?

Anonymous Jul 26, 2005 at 10:03

As earlier there were clearly visible upload links...

sylvester Jul 26, 2005 at 12:35

hmm, make sure you are logged in, then browse to for example: http://www.generation-msx.nl/msxdb/softwareinfo/2868 Kind: Game Genre: Action Upload title screenshot Upload game screenshot And the 2 blue links starting with Upload are the upload links :) But they are only visible if you are logged in.

Anonymous Jul 26, 2005 at 14:06

I am pretty sure I was logged in when I tried to search upload links some hours ago. And now I checked it again.. within same results, I cannot see any upload links. I am logged in, as in the forum there is "Log out" link. But in database it says "Please login to place comments". And I used that link to login! And it still asks same without giving me facility to comment anything! Nor show me any upload link. So I guess, that I am both logged in and not logged in same time! :) Weird things happening! :s So, Please H-E-L-P!

Strange, it works here under windows and linux. With IE 6.0 and Mozilla Firefox. I will have a look at it tonight.
