New entry: Serra Pelada

"Serra Pelada" was one of the first games developed in Brazil. It was a text adventure developed by Renato Degiovani for the Spectrum in 1987 and converted for MSX by Einar Saukas. Serra Pelada was a huge real-life open gold mine in the middle of the Amazon forest discovered on early 80s. There´s a lot of amazing images of it on Youtube and Google, the swarms of half-naked, mud-covered men going up and down wooden ladders hoping to score big. It was (and still is) a very importante component of the Brazilian culture and Ethos. Name: Serra Pelada Year: 1987 Format: 5 1/4 disk Developer: Renato Degiovani (original game) and Einer Saukas (MSX port) Distributor: Pro Kit Style: Text Adventure Screenshots attached.

Here´s the original disk. It never had a box or manual (all instructions are on-screen). Game was shipped on a generic box. It´s autographed by Mr. Degiovani.
