Moonbase for MoonSound

This cartridge aims to implement an MSX-AUDIO + OPL2 environment with ADPCM implementation by combining it with an OPL4 cartridge (MoonSound-aka Dalsori, etc.) that operates on MSX. MOONBASE is a cartridge that operates in combination with MOONSOUND.

It needs a MSX1 16KB RAM or more.

It provides the following main functions:

- MSX-Audio BIOS (FS-CA1 Sample ROM 64KB + Modified BIOS 1.3 OPL/OPL3)
- ADPCM decoder (256KB sample RAM, MSX-Audio compatible)
- Drive external OPL4 cartridge with MSX-Audio I/O
- Audio output mix of external OPL4 cartridge and MoonBase
- Mono Unsigned 8BIT PCM compatible with Philips Music Module (NMS-1205)
- Mono Signed 16BIT PCM
- PCM drum set for MSX-Music rhythm mode (8-step adjustable output)

You can refer to the following combinations:

OPL4 = OPL3 + Wave
OPL4 = OPL2 + OPL2 + Wave
OPL4 + MoonBase = OPL2 + (OPL2 + MoonBase) + Wave
OPL4 + MoonBase = OPL2 + Y8950 + Wave

By reinforcing OPL4 with ADPCM in this way, you can hear drum sounds better.
