Can someone help me with msx?

I was wondering if someone could help me work MSX. Can someone tell me how to download and play games? I'm trying to play metal gear but I'm not sure how I'm using MSX2-Emulator. I have no idea how to work it I've never used MSX before. Any help or links to help are appreciated.THANX
