More info about Spirit Power

The game was developed by Akizuki Makoto and it was originally published as a program listing in the 1991-06 issue of MSX Magazine:

The game was also included in Disc Station #25, disk 1 (under BASIC Programs).

There's three different loops in the game. You can't fight the final boss in the first loop (it will just fly past the screen). Beating the game on the second and third loop gives you a different ending message (with fireworks in the background).

First loop ending:
"CONGRATULATION !
YOU ARE NICE PLAYER"

Second loop ending:
"CONGRATULATION !
MAYUMI IS VERY PRETTY ♥"

Third loop ending:
"CONGRATULATION !
YOU ARE PERFECT PLAYER"

You can keep playing through the game as many times as you want, but it will just repeat the 2nd and 3rd loop ending texts.
