I just want to look up for official release of games, but when I look for, let's say games developed by Konami, it gives me bunch of bootleg releases... I think these should not be shown by default.by MP83 - Generation MSX
I cleaned up the current Generation MSX logo for the Dark Mode use:by MP83 - Generation MSX
Developers are credited in the game's ending as follows: PROGRAM: M.AKIZUKI MUSIC: T.WATANABE There's three different loops in the game. You can't fight the final boss in the first loop (it will just fly past the screen). Beating the game on the second and third loop gives you a different ending message (with fireworks in the background). First loop ending: "CONGRATby MP83 - MSX Software Database
The game was developed by Akizuki Makoto and it was originally published as a program listing in the 1991-06 issue of MSX Magazine: The game was also included in Disc Station #25, disk 1 (under BASIC Programs). Thanks to "guybrush28" for finding the source of the game for me. I could've found it myself eventually, but he saved me from the trouble. :)by MP83 - MSX Software Database
All enemy mechs recognized (can't be done by normal means -- the game is a prototype, after all): And here's the map for the game that I just finished: Feel free to add these to the database. Thanks! :)by MP83 - MSX Software Database
The current note for the game entry is wrong: QuoteIt seems this is some kind of prototype which isn't finished yet. Controls: Directional: move Space: fire right arm (Blast) Shift: push-field left arm (Mover) ESC: pause & info Files/boxes (content is fixed per room): Green: in-game info Purple: adds or removes abilities/energy White: open(s) door(s), shows location(s) afby MP83 - MSX Software Database
I played around with pokes for The Iron Gauntz (MSX1) prototype and managed to get the following passwords for the beginning of the game. :) With these passwords your Blast and Attack stats are DIECITE and PUNCHER respectively (you can't get these stats by normal means): 7K8J6HQAS7AZFJMK = Start at stage 2 with maxed out player stats, equipped with SUPER gun (deals most damage, but somby MP83 - MSX Software Database
Hello, I know that MSX Generation already has the evolution chart for Darwin 4078 game, that I made from scratch some time back. This one, however, is scanned from the MSX2 manual of the game and then translated to English: It's up to you whether or not you want to include this to the site. They're both showing the same information. Just in different formats. Cheers!by MP83 - MSX Software Database
Here's my latest map. This one is for Aliens: The Computer Game, released by Electric Dreams, and ported to the MSX by Mr. Micro.by MP83 - MSX Software Database
You type CAVEMAN in Jet Set Willy II. Someone must have got the games mixed up.by MP83 - MSX Software Database
Can someone please remove the CAVEMAN cheat from here? It's completely wrong.by MP83 - MSX Software Database
Thanks! Could you also remove the CAVEMAN cheat from that page? It doesn't work with either version of Jet Set Willy. Manuel Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Nice map! Oh yeah, there's also cheats for the Cameron Else's port that could be added to the website. The "infinite lives" code was originally revealed by Cameron Else himself on YouTube. Thevvie managed to find the code for the "choose rooms" cheat by looking at the game code. The cheats are as follows: During gameplay, press W to pause the game, then input the code CUBICby MP83 - MSX Software Database
Here's the map for Jet Set Willy for the MSX. It's based on the port by Cameron Else and not the crappy Hudson Soft one, but it also works with Hudson's version.by MP83 - MSX Software Database
Here's also the top deck (1st floor) mapped. The game does have middle and bottom decks too, but they're non-linear, so I don't know yet how to map those.by MP83 - MSX Software Database
Here's Location Grid and Handkerchief images that are necessary to be able to play the game (think of it as a copy-protection). These informations are based on the things that came with the physical copies of the game. I would've just scanned the originals, but the location grid paper is especially hard to scan, because it's very tall and laminated. That's why I decided to remby MP83 - MSX Software Database
Here's the map image that I made for Midnight Brothers for the MSX, thanks to the help of The Rest of MSX website.by MP83 - MSX Software Database
