Hi everybody, I have a question about a game from Hal Laboratory. It concerns the game Space Trouble, a simple 1984 shooter. I know for certain that this game was also published under a different name, the game was exactly the same, except for the title screen which had of course another title. Does anybody know or remember what that name was and if it was published by Hal itself or aby Wataru - MSX Software

@DanielSmith, Thanks I will have a look at the program you mentioned.by Wataru - MSX Software Database
Here is another idea: What about a vote history. A page where you can see which games you have voted for in the past. In this way we can avoid double votes for a certain game and thus prevent that the voting data becomes distorted.by Wataru - MSX Software Database

I recently discovered a website which contains konami's from the period 1983 - 1987, like Sky Jaguar, Super Cobra, Yie ar Kungfu, Knightmare etc., all refitted with SCC(+). I knew that Nemesis was refitted by Konami with an SCC bu I was quite suprised by this. My question is was this done by Konami itself or is this a fan job?by Wataru - MSX Software
Sometimes when I take a screenshot from a certain game not all of the elements appear in the screenshot. For an example of this take a look at the screenshot I took from Clapton 2. I wanted to make screenshot with the end-boss in it but as it can be seen the end-boss does not appear in the screenshots, its bullets are however pictured. Does anybody of you know why this sometimes happens and iby Wataru - MSX Software Database
I was just playing this old shooter from the early eighties when I asked to myself if there ever was a Clapton I? Does anybody of you known if there was a Clapton I and if so on what platform(s) was it released? Thanks in advanceby Wataru - MSX Software

Now that you mention it I remember reading something about that on Wikipedia. I think you are right. Any luck with the maze game?by Wataru - MSX Software
Perhaps you are thinking of Space War, the oldest computer game made, I think it was in 1964. As far as I know, no MSX version was commercially released.by Wataru - MSX Software
Perhaps you mean Star Command?by Wataru - MSX Software
To answer your question in the comments: no I did not put that screenshot there. I have added the screenshot which is more known. I guess Programmers-3 programmed the game in 1983 and led it be distributed by Sony (which was a distributer for a lot of small software house back in the early 1980s, like Konami for e.g.). Somewhere along the line Programmers-3 became Compile, I guess. In 198by Wataru - MSX Software Database
Wasn't Programmers-3 the same group who later started Compile? The games that Programmers-3 wrote look like predecessors to Compile games, see for e.g. my comment at Exa Innova. Does anybody have more information about this?by Wataru - MSX Software Database
Perhaps you mean Mazes Unlimited or Maze Master?by Wataru - MSX Software Database

I agree with the points Manuel made. With regards to [1]. Why only Aacksoft? It should be done for al companies in the db (but I agree that Aackosoft is an interesting case).by Wataru - MSX Software Database
Does anybody know who made this Star Trek game and when it was made and on which media it was ported (I guess ROM but I want to be absolutely sure)? I guess it was made by Sega (the high score tabel has the same style as that of Buck Rogers but I could be wrong of course. Please look at the screenshots I took. When the information is complete I will add it to the db. Thanks and liveby Wataru - MSX Software

I posted it. The game was released in 1988 on disk by Methodic Solutions. I did not know that it was released on a compilation disk as well. It was also released on other platforms like the Amiga and the Atari ST. I have added two Amiga and one Atari screenshot.by Wataru - MSX Software Database
What is the name of the following game? The object of the game was that you had to make yourself populair among people of a small British town. Your were, if I am correct, the mayor of this town. The game itself was purely menu-based. It had no pictures. For each decision you had to make, you could choose from several options, each decision making your more (or less) populair among the towby Wataru - MSX Software
