PSG mode in this game exits because MSX Music was not defined as part of the MSX2+ Standard. indeed only MSX2+ computers with this MSX music built in are Panasonic FS-A1WX

The only MSX2+ only game from Konami, and the only Konami to support MSX Music. It has a PSG mode too (I'm wondering why, as I believe all official MSX2+ models came with MSX Music built in).
