Note

Contest ran from 1988-09-15 to 1988-11-14.

Only a few cartridges were ever produced, and handed out to some of the 20 winners of the contest who preferred this MSX2 edition over the MSX1 edition, which makes this cartridge very rare. The cartridge is a gold colour, but the label is the regular label of King's Valley II (MSX2 edition).

The contest was run by 4 magazines MSX FAN/MSX Magazine/BEEP/Comptiq. The magazine that the prize recipient has contributed its level is at the top of the level selection menu. Each cartridge displays the certificate showing the recipient's name, therefore all cartridges are technically different.
