Some Screen-shots , both in comic release and Casio Release show the year 1984 (instead of 1985)

You're wrong about the picture being from Yie Ar Kun Fu 2. Throughout the second game the hero, Lee Young, appears clad in blue jacket and trousers. In the first game he appears sans shirt but in a nice pair of blue pantaloons (as pictured in this article). My guess is that the second game is set somewhere with a colder climate ;)
